Vivekananda Jayanti

Prakriti Charitable Society celebrates Vivekananda Jayanti on 12th January to remember the noble contribution and the significance of Swami Vivekananda. The event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. We hope that this event will help to raise awareness of Vivekananda’s teachings and inspire others to follow in his footsteps. A lecture on the relevance of education and its importance is delivered followed by a cultural event where children from the local community participate. We strive to promote cultural inclusivity and invite everyone to come and celebrate the life and legacy of Swami Vivekananda.

Independence Day

Prakriti Charitable Society celebrates Independence Day on the 15th of August every year with great enthusiasm. We organise various events and programs to commemorate the historic day when our nation gained freedom. Our secretary proudly hoists our National Flag, and students gather on our organisation’s premises. They participate in cultural programs and activities that promote national unity and pride. Through our celebrations, we aim to foster a sense of patriotism and honour the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters, while also promoting the values of independence, equality, and progress.

International Women Day

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. We celebrate International Women’s Day by highlighting the achievements of women in communities. Prakriti Charitable society will be hosting a series of events and activities throughout the month of March. We aim to organise a panel discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing women from different communities, also film screening of documentaries about a woman who has made significant contributions to her field. We have arranged a range of programs that also involve working with a local women’s shelter, providing education to girls, or supporting a women’s health initiative.

Environment Day

Our main focus is to preserve our environment. We celebrate World Environment Day on the 5th of June with great enthusiasm every year. On this day, we organise awareness campaigns, rallies, and other activities to spread awareness about environmental issues. We also plant trees and distribute plants to encourage people to contribute to a greener environment. Additionally, we raise awareness about reducing plastic use, conserving water, and other environmental conservation measures. Through our efforts, we strive to inspire people to take action and make a positive impact on the world around us.
